Come celebrate the artists and artisans of West Texas.
The Arts Council of Midland is proud to present the 39th annual Celebration of the Arts. COA is the largest fine art and fine craft event of the Permian basin, as well as the longest-running downtown event in Midland. COA is a well-known event in the community, and attracts visitors from out of town. The festival features local performers and entertainers, non-profits, family-friendly events, and special events over the course of the weekend. We hold a Premier Party on Friday night, where we showcase our juried artists to ticketed guests and sponsors. The festival is open to the public on the Saturday and Sunday following. Enjoy a fun-filled family day at the Bush Convention Center, which is air conditioned.

Come one, come all! Join us for our Premier Party on July 21st, a night of pure entertainment! You can enjoy a variety of heavy appetizers and adult beverages, including a Carnival Cosmo. Everybody is an artist waiting to perform. Shop original artwork in the "big top" of visual artists before the festival begins Saturday. Bring the whole family! Silent auction, live art demonstrations and music benefiting Arts Council of Midland! All ages are welcome!
Baron Wilson is our Distinguished Artist for 2023! Baron creates fine art paintings that include Texas landscapes, still life, abstracts and architectural landmarks. Stop by his booth to see what he has to offer!
